Transfer Printed Ceramics

You may think that these "fancy" transfer printed ceramics are more recent than 1846, or you might think they were too fancy to end up  in BC or along the coast by 1846. But the truth is that they started being used in the 1750s and were very inexpensive and widespread by the time the fur trade reached BC. Most at this time were blue, but other colours were being experimented with.
